Is My Child Eligible?
If your child meets the following criteria, then they are eligible for the CDBS:

0 to 17 years old for at least one day that calendar year

eligible for Medicare
-
getting a payment from the government at least once a year, or have a parent, carer or guardian getting a payment from the government at least once a year.

​​Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS)
The Child Dental Benefits Schedule is a Medicare scheme designed to cover the cost of dental treatment for eligible children. If your child is eligible, $1,095 is issued over 2 calendar years for basic dental services. The services that are covered include any of the following:
